Both dryer vent cover models are forged from steel wirh a white powder coat paint finish to help protect against rust. The front panel with its vertical bars is held in place by a zinc-coated steel clip, and the panel opens on a hinge system to allow for routine dryer vent maintenance. The covers come with three pre-drilled mounting holes that accommodate screws for quick, easy installation. These code-compliant dryer vent covers feature vertical bars that create a barrier against birds and wildlife, helping to prevent lint buildup and dryer fires. Available in two sizes, the 8" model covers 6" dryer vents and the 6" model covers 4" dryer vents.
