We found that the outdoor durability, UV and chemical resistance, and thermal stability of GE's GELOY CR7520 resin surpassed all alternatives. GELOY resin from GE gives the E-Cap a number of important attributes, including resistance, oxidative degradation, and an attractive glossy appearance. The E-Cap is a hemispherical plastic cover that can be easily installed over the open end of a high-efficiency gas furnace flue pipe. To ensure that our innovative product offers the highest level of weather resistance and durability, we chose GELOY CR7520 acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) resin from GE Advanced Materials instead of conventional PVC or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin.
