One challenge with cage traps is that the human smell from your hands can get on the trap and repel the cats you most need to catch. This product neutralizes that effect when you set a trap with catnip as bait. It doesn't smell exactly like catnip but the cats still like it. I rub it on a large leaf before placing a pile of catnip on the leaf.
