Dura-Poly Plastic-catch trap, a solid walled, front release, box trap is available in white-only and is made in Canada. This trap measures 9" x 9" x 24" and is very heavily constructed. This is the preferred skunk trap of many. Many operators who use this trap exclusively for capturing skunks also use the trap itself as a euthanasia chamber. They place the trap in an upright position and place a CO2 hose through a hole in the door. This way there is no need to transfer the animal to another trap.

I bought this trap over 20 years ago when I lived in the Sierras. I got 7 skunks the first season. I was reluctant to loan it out because I was told they didn't make it anymore. Now I know where I can replace it if need be. I've never been sprayed, and it's opaque enough that you can tell if you've caught your neighbor's cat or not. It's a gem !

I am a wildlife biologist who ends up doing a great deal of nuisance animal trapping. I've had some of my traps for 10 years and still work fine. Easy to set, catches animals easily, easy to release without getting bit or spayed, and even easy to clean. Well worth the cost. Now regularly use 10 small traps and 6 large raccoon size traps. Work better and are hidden better if you camouflage paint them.
