This is the Cinch Mole Trap.  Designed like its big brother Cinch for Gopher, this is an effective tool for handling moles or small gophers.  Cinch Mole Traps are set directly in the moles tunnel system, back-to-back, so that a capture can be made regardless of the direction the mole is travelling. The Cinch Mole trap features smaller jaws and trigger than the regular Cinch trap for gophers and can be used in smaller sized gopher tunnels with excellent results. Made from durable galvanized steel.

CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS: The Cinch Mole trap (vs the Gopher sized trap) has been found to be most effective on the sized gophers found in CA.

Definitely work!

I've been using a few different traps to keep the gophers in check. What I really like about these is they go deep in the hole. You set them on the most sensitive position. I'd recommend the smaller mole and gopher version. By the way, I live in North Idaho.

As a woman with weak hands, these traps are very easy to set for me. They work great. Haven't done in a couple dozen gophers over the past couple of years. Won't use any other trap than these.
My go-to trap

I do not know why there are no reviews on this trap. I have tried many types and I think the cinch trap is easiest to set and most effective. It does take some strong hands and fingers to set this trap so be aware of that. There are conditions that may call for a different trap but since I started using this, the others stay in the truck. I would estimate effectiveness at 80 to 90 percent. It is especially fun to catch 2 moles, one from each direction. Also there have been a couple instances that I caught a gopher instead of a mole. One caution: be sure it is a genuine Cinch trap and not a knock off! (long story)
