KORO Rodent Trap

I install these in a box/tube for California Ground Squirrels. Very effective and powerful.

Great trap.

I like the design and sturdiness of the trap, but setting the trip plate is very tricky. I bought the setting tool and it helps, but I have had the trap cleaned out many times. I've polished the end of the trip pin and I'm hoping this will make it trip easier,

Gotta set the bate tray so the release is sensitive. After that this thing hits hard. Solid

Generally it is very solid and easy to set. The mechanism makes perfect sense. However, I cannot get anything to trigger the trap no matter what bait I use or how I place it on/around the base. I can trigger it with a stick, but the pressure seems far more than a squirrel would exert on it. Giving it a 3 stars as it seems very well made and well thought out.

If I had had the strength--I could've used this trap...had NO idea that it required the STRENGTH of Hercules in one's hands to set it...which I (unfortunately) do no have.....

Great rodent trap, top of the line, powerful and well constructed.

Trap works great but definitely needs the sides and top blocked off. Heavy duty aluminum foil works pretty good. I use yellow corn tortilla chips, crushed, and tossed in the back half with a few just outside.
