KORO Live Beaver Trap: This clam shell style Live Beaver Trap design has many satisfied customers to its credit. Easily adapts to most situations, including suspending it from two fence posts in deep water. Constructed of an all aluminum frame that will last a lifetime. The trap weighs only 25 pounds and folds to 6" in thickness for convenience. This trap will easily capture 60 - 70lb. beaver. This is the same type of trap used to capture the beaver cutting the cherry trees in Wash., D.C. Great for public relations also.
This style of trap was invented around 1930 in Martin, South Dakota by Charles Lynn Hancock.

Have had issues with beavers for years. Most are trap shy, this trap seems to overcome that. A real time saver!

Well constructed live trap. The Koro live beaver trap is a bit heavier than the Hancock live trap. Both types work very well on trap shy beavers. Have never had a triggered trap without a beaver.

This live Beaver trap is well constructed, easy to use and consistently results in catches. If you want a device to live trap and transport Beaver, this device is the answer. As a Nuisance Wildlife Agent and owner of Animal Relocation Services, I have live caught and released hundreds of Beaver using this trap. It is my go to trap. I use Koro traps in my new video "Catching the Numbers". I would estimate I have caught over 700 beaver in Koro traps. Good trap and WCS in Conn. will send you a good product. The trap definitely will fill the niche.
