While the aluminum frame of the hancock-style live beaver trap will last a lifetime, with continued use and especially if otters are being caught you may find it necessary to replace the chain link mesh of the trap. This galvanized chain link mesh is perfectly sized to replace the damaged mesh on all hancock-style traps.

The Koro Live Beaver Trap Chain Link Kit includes 2 support rods, 1 cotter pin, and chain link tied to fit. Kit is designed to fit original Hancock Trap.

If you run hancocks year round you will have to replace the fabric. It would be great if you used heavier galvanization or even better if you used stainless!
