WCS Net Blaster™ was developed in conjunction with APHIS and the USDA Wildlife Services to be used in the capture of migratory birds and other animals. Martin Engineering has developed the first-ever air propelled net cannon specifically for capturing wildlife. How does the WCS Net Blaster™ Work? The WCS Net Blaster™ is revolutionizing the way wildlife professionals capture animals for scientific study and management. By eliminating the need for explosives, wildlife managers, researchers, and pest control professionals can avoid the regulatory hassles, continuing expenses, and most importantly, the dangers of using explosives. The WCS Net Blaster™ will project nets up to 40’x60’ to trap waterfowl, wild turkeys, pigeons, other birds, and even deer and other large mammals. The WCS Net Blaster™ is the first-ever air propelled net cannon designed specifically for capturing wildlife.  A variety of different sized nets (sold separately) have worked well for Waterfowl, Pigeon, Starling or Grackle (1" mesh); Turkey & Geese (1 3/4" mesh) and Big Game (4" mesh).

Product Features

  • Compressed air launches 4.5 pound projectiles attached to a net
  • Mobile cart uses pneumatic 10" tires
  • 20-gallon, 150 psi reservoir tank
  • Shoots multiple size nets - Up to 40' x 60'
  • Built-in safety features
  • "Field Tested"— 90% capture rate on birds within 12–18 feet of the WCS NET BLASTERTM
