Constructed of 1/2" x 1/2" mesh, which makes for a much more durable trap, the Special Squirrel Pro is able to stand up to the rigors of day-to-day use by professionals. This trap has a simplified locking mechanism and finger grip, allowing you to set the trap with one hand if standing on a ladder while setting. A door guide was installed to make setting this trap smooth and easy every time!

The trap is sturdy and simple to set. Quickly caught the uninvited house guests. The metal shield near the handle provides extra protection from anxious animals. Coated wire was easy to clean. Hope we don't need to use it again, but know it will get the job done.

Product arrived on time and well packaged. This trap is well made and simple to set up and operate. A simple release mechanism is a convenience for the end user and also means that it will be more reliable and less prone to corrosion or any difficulty in operation. The trap is also quite sturdy and should easily contain my squirrel from Hell and provide years of service.

I started with two and they worked so well I ordered two more. I reviewed some youtube catch guides & was catching 2 to 6 squirrels a day. Over 50 in @ 4 weeks. Using the tip and these traps I sometimes heard the trap snap close on my second catch while I was moving the 1st catch to the side of the house. I even caught a squirrel size rat in one. I recommend the professional version with the smaller holes for those looking for an A+ trap(s).

I purchased six of these to try out and I’m very glad I did. These traps are built like tanks and will give a long service life. The traps are very easy to set and the trigger pan sensitivity is perfect. I will definitely be adding more to my arsenal in the near future.

This trap is great. Previously, I bought a few traps from the big box stores that were useless. This trap worked so well I trapped 8 squirrels, one per day, for eight days, until all squirrels were removed. The squirrels were in a concealed gable area of my roof. This trap works on adult and baby squirrels. The tight mesh protects you from getting crawled by the squirrels because they fight like crazy to escape but once the door shuts, they can’t break free.

Bought it for squirrels and chipmunks, great trap for squirrels but the door gap is too big and chipmunks squeeze right through after a short time.

I bought this trap to aid in squirrel dog training. I have abused it and am impressed. Light pan, secure holding latch, and a quality spring powered door. My dogs have rolled this trap over, chewed on it, and jumped on it trying to get to the caught squirrel on the inside. The trap has suffered no damage at all. The door remains closed even when cage is rolled over. You are getting a very well built product for at a very cheap price.
