This trap contains the construction and features needed for a long lasting durable squirrel trap at a great price. Newly improved with black tone plating to help camoflauge your trap and resists rusting!
The only difference between this trap and its "professional cousin" is the mesh size.
- Constructed of 1" x 1/2" mesh to securely hold any squirrel or rat
- This trap has a simplified locking mechanism and finger grip, allowing you to set the trap with one hand

Have had the traps for a few days and was able to secure two squirrels already. Great trap!!

We love this trap. At first, I thought the handle guard was an unneeded addition. However, it gives us a secure spot to place our Skyhawk Trap monitors. \n\nIt can be a bit sensitive right out of the box. We have had to adjust the triggers a bit, or just hit the trigger with a file to knock off a bit of powder coating. The seem to be more sensitive the colder it is. Does powder coat get slicker in the cold?\n\nOver all, a nicely priced workhorse for our squirrel jobs!

The cage is slightly lighter gage than what I already have had for years - it looks like it will perform just as well. The setup design is easier than competitor - thank you for that, don't have to fuss with this one so much. It arrived promptly and in perfect condition. Put it to use and it works like a charm - my enemy no. 1 are tree rats and this very effective trap is their worst nightmare. Bit of peanut-butter and the trap is very effective.
