Goodnature Rat & Mouse Paste is long-life, toxin-free and tastes and smells of chocolate. It's so attractive to rats that 24 out of 24 choose it as their last meal. Because all our pastes are toxin-free, they're safe for you, your pets and wildlife. It has been significantly formulated for long lasting attraction in all environments. The paste can be used to pre-feed the area around your trap, to encourage rodents toward the trap. Place pea-sized dabs of this lure around your trapping site up to 100 feet away to help introduce the lure to the rats and mice. Rats are suspicious of new foods. That is why rats will smell the breath of other rats they meet to see what they are eating; the more widely spread the lure is, the more likely they will encounter it. If they are familiar with the lure when they discover your trap, they are more likely to explore it and be killed.

This lure pouch was a great way to use a nontoxic solution to catch mice. I had to close off my other food competition and then use this bait to get the rodents used to it. Now they love the lure.

Used this for a few months now and just can't get mice and rats excited about it. Maybe, if given enough time the prebait would build up a "craving" but when I can use my own creation and get catches the same day why wait?
