WCS™ Multi Catch Sparrow Trap

Using millet seeds to catch an overabundance of house sparrows. Have learned to put some seeds in first chamber and more in second and put some leading into side holes. Have caught 8 so far in a couple of weeks leaving it outside only a few hours/day because am catching and releasing lots of chipmunks as they are eating the seeds. Really scratched up my arm the first couple times I tried to catch the sparrows (several escaped) because the area you put your arm thru has very sharp edges. I have duct taped the edges and that really helps.

Patience required, but yes, it works. \nOccasionally 4 at a time but mostly 1 or 2. \nFine with me! \nNo more nesting in my attic!\nThank you WCS.

This isn't a bad trap for sparrows but its kind of small. I caught 3 the second day and a grey squirrel. 5 in 1 week, 65 to go. If it were larger it would hold more birds. The 3 I caught flapped around so much the other ones got scared off. Put the trap on a table or under a roof where they hide in storms and rain or right next to the bushes they hide in on an old table . Don’t hang it.
