A WCS™ Mist Net is designed for attended capture of smaller birds such as starlings, sparrow and pigeons. They are also used for the humane capture of bats. WCS carries two sized Mist Nets, the 10’ x 30’and the 10’ x 40’. All of the nets are ½” mesh and are made of nylon material. The nylon is UV resistant, strong yet light-weight and nets can be use indoors or out.

Mist Nets are used for humane capture of small birds and bats in warehouses, retails stores, airports or shopping malls. They are also used for capturing small birds and bats for tagging, banding or tracking and for the capture of both species populations for testing of virus or parasite infestations.

Folded up these nets fit in a sandwich sized plastic bag, but they are very fine and very strong. Available is sizes 10' x 20' or 10'x 40' with a diamond mesh size of 1/2". Each has 3 pouches (or pockets) created with cords runing the length of the net with loops on each end of the cord. UV resistant nylon makes the nets strong, but light-weight. They can be used indoors or outdoors.
