Garden Fresh is specially manufactured to meet On Target's detailed specifications for a groundhog lure. A combination of different vegetable essences give this lure a long lasting odor that will attract ground hogs during the late summer and fall.

To use as a lure, place on a lure holder, such as a cotton ball, in the rear of your cage trap. Place a large cabbage leaf or slice of melon for eye appeal to increase its effectiveness. To use as a trailing scent, check for nearby animal routes and trail the scent no more than 10-15' to your trap. Lay a line of trailing scent from outside the trap to inside the trap beyond the trigger pan.

I find some groundhogs difficult to get to enter a baited trap. Garden Fresh gives them a little added incentive to go in. It is a great trailing lure also.
