Sterling Grizz, species-specific, all steel, raccoon trap. It requires no special tools to set it, and there is no need to disassemble. The trap is species-specific, meaning that it only activates on a gripping and pulling action. An animal can "push" on the trigger all day long and the trap will not go off. Use with a sweet sticky lure or bait, and use a couple of marshmallows for some added attraction. Extremely effective around suburban properties, barns, as well as agricultural settings. This trap with the proper care should last a lifetime.

Notice we paint ours white for added "eye" appeal.

To bait simply sprinkle a few of the mini marshmallows in front of the trap and place a few down inside the tube of the trap. As an added attraction, a few drops of your favorite "sweet sticky" raccoon lure applied inside the Sterling Grizz will really make the raccoon work for it. We recommend Masked Magic as it really holds a coons curiosity.

The raccoon will eat the mini marshmallows sprinkled around the front of the trap and then "discover" the bait inside the Sterling Grizz and reach in and attempt to retrieve them and in the process become captured.
