This is 100% Pure Skunk Essence, the pure quill, NOT a tincture. The essence is put up in one ounce glass bottles and the caps are triple dipped in hot wax. WCS is a large volume dealer in skunk essence and we know how to handle it properly. We use an odor absorbing material for shipping. Using this extra precaution with this material, we have successfully shipped it all over the world and have never had a complaint from either the carrier or the customer. There is a $2.00 special packaging surcharge per order. Great for fisher, marten and all canines. Use straight or in formulation. A little goes a long way. Many trappers melt vaseline (16:1 ratio) and then stir the skunk essence into it. Very handy for smearing on a tree adjacent to and above your set for a long-distance call lure. If you're looking for something that will really punch through the cold temperatures, this is it!

Great Skunk essence , shipped right away in a package that the postal folks didn't even know what was in there. :) I am 100% satisfied and will order more again and will recommend WCS to others!! Thank you!

I got tired of using skunk essence for lures because it's impossible to tell what was used by the seller. By using this in the pure form, not only can I get exact measurements since I do specialty mixtures down to the 1/10th mL, but I don't have to use much. The fact that the fatty proteins are still present also helps me bind different mixtures such as the addition of butyric acid. The oils float nicely on top of water and amplify the odor. \nI am very pleased with the product and love the fact the packaging was an added scent barrier. It's a bit pricey but other places that sell pure quill are usually out of stock and then jack the prices up to $50 and ounce or more when they finally do have it in stock.\nMAKE NO MISTAKE! This stuff is the real deal and is very potent and will latch to an oxygen atom quickly. Definitely use this in a well ventilated area when mixing. \n\nI will definitely be ordering from WCS again!
