The Wilco Ground Squirrel Trap is a multi-catch squirrel trap. It can catch up to a dozen squirrels before being emptied! It is a great alternative to poison baits.
Trap Placement: There is really nothing to set up. You just take the trap out of the box and add some bait. You will need to put it in a high traffic area that the ground squirrels frequent and will also need to add some bait for them to be attracted to. Once the cage is full you just need to dispose of the caught ground squirrels.
Design – well made, solid construction. Convenient carrying handles.

Personally seen a squirrel lift the door, which any trap can be outsmarted occasionally, but I saw a ground squirrel squeeze out a corner. We will try another brand.
