The Ladder M8rix Pro-Plus can be used on many surfaces outside, but with the added accessory of heavy duty rubber on the underside of its carry case, it can be used indoors too. Simply open the carry case (leaving the Pro-Plus still in its case) and it can be used on interior surfaces* such as ceramic or marble tiles, laminate flooring, vinyl or even glass floors. (* surfaces must be dry and contamination free).
Then to use it outside, just remove it from the Pro-Plus case and place it on the outdoor surface. The Pro-Plus has a rubber anti-slip top where the ladder feet are placed with a metal spiked base to help grip on slippery surfaces.

I was a little leery of it slipping at first but after using it that isn't a concern, it's built very well. The spikes are very sharp but they do not leave any marks on decks.

I have used this on hardwood floors, wet decking, and ice. Works great. When I was lifting it out of the case I dropped it about 2 feet and it fell onto the lock and it broke off. The case will no longer lock. My fault, but should hold up better than that.

This is a fantastic product not only for safety on slippery surfaces but also saves money on a second technician to hold the ladder. I highly recommended this awesome product.
