R108 RHINO™ Raccoon Excluder One Way Door

Just what I was looking for. Actually bought it for my neighbor to help with the raccoon problem in their attic due to a hole in the siding. Had to paint it white in order to match their siding, which was no problem. Checked to see if any critters happened to be inside before installing. Haven't seen any activity for over a month. I think it solved the problem. Very happy with this purchase.

I want everyone to know we have been fighting raccoons in my moms attic for over a year. About 6 months ago babies appeared. This past month they chewed up the A\\C wires in the attic, costing us $845.00 in repairs. After trying many options to get them out of the attic, I came across this R108 Raccoon one way door online at WCS. We installed it under the eve of her roof. Blocking all holes around the house under the eve with hardware cloth due to the house is 66 years old. We only left one exit for the raccoons. The size of the door we installed. The door was installed Saturday on August 13 in the evening. We knew they would be moving at night. After a few hours of them trying to figure out the door, one got out. Through the night they all left. The next morning around 5:00am they where in the window crawling up the brick trying to get back in. They could not get the door open! They came back the next day to try again but no luck! As of today August 19 there are no raccoons in her attic!!! This door really works!!! Raccoons are bad in Houston Texas and people need to know you can get rid of them yourself and save a whole lot of money with this door. Highly Recommend!! I wish I found this a year ago. I am very impressed with the quality and design. I have been using one way doors for years. The only ones I could find are the steel ones that look like traps. They work really well on skunks and possums. The smaller one great for squirrels and things like that. Raccoons would rip and pull at them because causing damage, they look horrible and some areas it's a puddle trying to get it in place. \n\nI am so impressed with this thing. Raccoons can't get a hold of anything on it to pull it out of place and if you are building a wire frame it's custom so a lot easier to install. I have a pest control company that deals with wildlife in Peterborough Ontario and o love that this is a Canadian company. \n\nIf you are needing raccoon removal hire a professional, but this is the only product as far as I am concerned for raccoon exclusion. I am so impressed.

We used this as a one way door for a skunk living under a shed. We used video footage to confirm it's exit and the skunk had no trouble leaving at all. It was also sturdy enough to resist letting the skunk back in. Highly recommend!!!

After the failure of the strobe tactic, we tried the R108 Rhino Raccoon Excluder One-Way Door to get several raccoons out of an attic. There were four of them- one big one and three half-grown ones. They all went out through the door, which we installed over the soffit opening they had been using. They could not get back in, and even five days later they check it out but can't get back in. Be careful not to tweak the unit when installing it or the door won't open correctly. That can be adjusted by turning the screws until the tweak is gone. Thanks!

Used on the back of our home at the soffit.\nI did have to lube up the hinge after that it worked fantastic. I sat back and watched the coon fall straight out.
