Iroquois - A castor-based beaver call lure that is laced with natural food ingredients, essential oils, and synthetic musk. It absolutely drives the beaver crazy. A quarter-sized glob on the bank will have beaver charging in aggressively trying to mark over the lure. The unique base is a time-release formula that dissolves slowly, releasing fresh ingredients into the air currents. Use the wind direction to your favor, and no visual attractors are needed. Extremely attractive to beaver year round. This lure is also a great change up lure for coyotes.

I bought a 2oz bottle because of the review above mine thinking there’s no way it’s that good. I was wrong, I set a foothold drowning set on one side of the bank and moved over to the other side to set a 330 run, I heard some noise as I was doing my thing and sure enough a 2 year old walked into that first set as I was 50 feet on the other side of the bank. I couldn’t believe it, first time I’ve trapped a beaver while still setting traps. This will be a staple on my line now.

First impression is all that was needed. This one will be a permanent fixture in my arsenal. Set up a new spot just before sunset. Made a castor mound with a coilspring on a drowning rod. Set 3 more sets upstream on same side of creek. Came back downstream and wanted to change out to a longer rod to fit the situation better. Went to change it out and my castor mound looked different. Thinking to myself, something was already on this. My lure stick was gone or trampled into the mud. Reset with new rod and re lured. Went up the other side of creek and set 2 more 330’s and by the time I got back, I could see a beaver standing on my mound again. I watched it get back in the water and somehow miss my trap. Snuck back down the bank and added some more guiding material. Had a 45 pounder next morning along with an 18-20 pounder off the only other lured set also with Iroquois. All the runs going out into the cornfield drew blanks and let me say, they were highways. Super sticky and stays put. Highly recommend.

Iroquois and Mackinaw beaver lure

I have been using Iroquois and Mackinaw lure for 7+ years. These are definitely my go to for beaver any time, any season. Personally have been involved in 629 beaver removed from our long line in Georgia in 7 trips averaging 9 trapnight checks. If the beaver is present at the location you set up, the beaver will be visiting, the rest is up to you. Majority of beaver caught are with snares, and Daves lure has the holding consistency to withstand hard 2+ inch rains and still provide catches. The 1st year using this lure we caught 102 in 9 checks on our Georgia trip. I have probably caught 250 on nuisance jobs in my everyday work utilizing Iroquois and Mackinaw. My thoughts are if you aren't using Dave's beaver lure, you are probably destined to check a lot of empty traps.....it's just that good! Stay safe folks.
